Movie Night

Tonight we decided to go check out a movie at the theater on base. Usually, a movie theater gives you at least a few options for movies and times to choose from. The theater here gives you pretty much one movie, showing at one time (because there is just one theater)... so, good for those with poor decision making skills. We were going to see "We're the Millers."
I really enjoy going to the theater here. It is very large and has a stage that Kadena uses for other events, so kind of a cool venue. I also like the fact that before every movie the audience has to stand for the National Anthem (active duty standing at attention, civilians with their hand over their hearts). So patriotic. And finally, I like the fact that its only $5.50 to get in, which (i think) is much cheaper than in the states.

Corey getting some popcorn... and yes, it costs an arm and a leg for movie theater snacks here   too (a popcorn, water, and soda was 10 bucks).

A not-so-great pic of the screen...

The line up for the rest of the week... Maybe we'll go see "Elysium" while its here. The movies usually only stick around for one weekend/showing!

PS- we both really liked the movie we saw!
